This is seen during the climax of the film where he quickly concocts the plan to erupt Diet Cola Mountain so the Cy-Bugs invading Sugar Rush would mistake the Diet Cola lava for a beacon. Though he doesn't exactly appear to be, Ralph actually proves to be quite intelligent. Aside from this, Ralph is somewhat limited by his large bulk. It is not until he meets and befriends a young girl named Vanellope, that he learns being a hero means learning to put others before oneself. During the first part of his adventure, he is openly out for himself, believing earning a medal (though he did not technically earn it) would automatically give him the title of a hero. During the film, he appears oblivious to what actually makes one a hero. In fact, it is because of his destructive programming that Ralph was often shunned by the Nicelanders and he proves to be ashamed of his wrecking habits at certain points. But it's getting harder and harder to love his job when no one seems to like him for doing it. There are no benefits to playing quickly, so take advantage of this aspect of the game. The sugar will pour infinitely and the levels aren’t timed, so you can take your time to really plan the best move. Drawing paths that are almost 90-degree drops will help things flow smoothly and fill the cup(s) faster! Take a minute to plan Eventually, the sugar will spill over the edge, giving you a second stream to guide into place. This pile can either be on the platforms or on your paths.
